I know, I know... you can't stroll down 3 finger strokes on instagram without rolling over another landscape shot with a bold-text motivational quote preaching better life mantra at you. But ​whether it’s a quick pick up in enthusiasm or words to lead your life by, here is a list of my favourite quotes:

  1. If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.
  2. I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.
  3. Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.
  4. A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.
  5. Absorb what is useful, discard what is useless and add what is specifically your own.
  6. Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them.
  7. To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.

These are all quote from the same man. He lived a short but very impactful life. He is remembered today as the figure who popularised Kung Fu around the world. He would share life-changing wisdom every chance he would get. Bruce Lee died at the age of 32, but through his words, his movies and his combat style of Jeet Kune Do his memory and his driving passion will endure.
