Most people train in Krav Maga for fitness and self defence. Krav Maga mixes well with other styles, it adds an unparalleled realism that compliments your other training, so don't be afraid to cross train and blend them together. If there is another style you have a particular attraction for I am happy to point you in the right direction. Stavanger & Sandnes Martial Arts and Training clubs
As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY Aikido club in the region. It´s been in Stavanger for several years and is well run, social and friendly.
Former world champion in BJJ teaching the next generation of champs in a huge venue close to Kvadrat.
Boxing has always been great for self defence and fitness. This gym is spacious and well equipped.
Boxing training several times a week taught by former professional boxer, Ole Klemetsen.
Large training venue in Sandnes. Nice place to train in this Olympic sport.
A great venue and training centre. If you are looking for Judo as a sport hobby, this is the place to go.
The Stavanger Jujitsu Club is a well established venue teaching traditional Japanese Jujitsu.
Stick fighting style, lots of fun.

The ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) have their training in Gausel/Forus at the Flex 24 gym.
